how we began

We are a family-owned business spanning four generations dating back to 1948. Grandpa’s sly business acumen and quick wit quickly pivoted into the textile industry in Hong Kong which began in the 1900s to 1920s with knitters and weavers. Our history and Hong Kong’s history in cotton spinning and weaving mills interweaved together further expanded into narrow fabric, elastic bands, and trimming. By the mid-1950s and ’60s, business was booming, the opening of the European and American markets brought prices up, the variety of garments diversified into high-end fashion, and eventually by 1975, the opportunity to immigrate the family to the United States to lay down new roots.
